If you’re a coastal dweller, you’ll understand why winter can be rather confusing. Growing up on the west coast of British Columbia, winter’s were often mild with lots of rain. However, there were definitely times where it dumped buckets of snow – and other times where you’d swear it was suntanning weather. It’s confusing. So instead of throwing on a giant parka and snow boots, its more relevant to stick to mild winter-wear.

Chunky knit sweaters and slouched jeans offer a perfect amount of protection from the cold, without overdoing it. Pair the outfit with a chic hat and some vintage boots and you’ll be able to conquer whatever a coastal winter has in store for you! Just pray for no earthquakes… 😘
