It’s well into December so bring on the holiday parties! It’s a month of bonding with family and friends, as well as a shameless amount of self-indulgence. “Gingerbread cookies? Sure grandma, I’ll have thr….all of them.”

It’s always a struggle figuring out what to wear and how to style yourself for each occasion. Luckily, we’ve found an easy tutorial to give you a glowing look for any holiday party!

Step 1: Foundation / Base

After applying your foundation/powder base, apply your contour power along the bottom line of the cheekbone — make a fishy face to find this.

Step 2: Amp up the glow

Amp up the glow by highlighting the tops of the cheekbones and the cupid’s bow. Blend a light brown eye shadow into the crease with a fluffy brush.

Step 3: Even more glow

Add glow to the eye look with a cream eyeshadow on the eyelid.

Step 4: Faux liner look

Use an eyeliner brush to apply a darker brown or black shadow to the lash line and wing it out at the tip to create a faux liner look. This will have a more subtle smokey effect than a liquid liner.

Step 5: Lashes

Pop on a pair of your favourite lashes to complete the eye look with a bang, or just stick to mascara if lashes aren’t your thing!

Step 6: Lipstick

Apply your favourite red lip to complete this look.

Voila, all done! We hope you enjoy any and all of your holiday parties this season. Feel free to leave us a comment below if you have any questions, tips or just to say hi! 🙂
